The One Net 3G Desk Phone

The 3G Desk Phone

The 3G desk phone is in essence ‘just a mobile phone’, 3G desk phones have a single land-line and mobile number, additional numbers are delivered via MuHG.

The 3G desk phone is specifically designed for use on One Net and One Net Express:

  • The device has many advantages, with the buttons down the left side of the keypad actually instigating One Net short codes to activate features.
  • Additionally the soft menus have been amended so that the device correctly sets call forwarding settings commonly used for voice-mail.

3G desk phones have both a land-line and mobile number, additional numbers are delivered via Multi user ‘hunt group’.

When the phone is initially provisioned it is activated with a both a mobile and a Land Line number.
For Example 07775 667788 and 01305 112233

The land-line number is set up by default to CFU, e.g. the mobile number is set up normally, but the land line number is set up so that all calls it receives are automatically forwarded to the mobile number, in this way all calls to the land-line or mobile number will ring on the desk phone.

Users can select whether to present either mobile or land-line number as the CLI for all outbound calls (or indeed on a per call basis).
- e.g. For all calls present either your mobile or land-line number as the number visible to the people you call.

This is a great advantage as it allows you to keep your mobile more private, or present your advertised company land line number to clients, or simply present a recognisable number to customers.

You can go on-line to administer your settings the for both mobile and land-line number, both settings are available, allowing complete control and flexibility.
